The spirit of 70s Mike Oldfield lives in in this stunning instrumental journey through surreal pastoral landscapes. If I say, 'Think Hergest Ridge / Ommadawn / Taurus' that's only partly true - Taylor is his own musician and goes places Mike never explored. Probably the most original of all the Oldfield apostles - this is an absolute diamond of a find. Buy it! nickgreen90125

When I discovered who Robert Reed was, and what he was doing, and how well he was doing it... well, it was like discovering the second layer in the box of chocolates you thought was long since empty. It's not Mike Oldfield, yet it sort of is... It's inspired but not derivative, new yet faithful. Reed recognises that Oldfield innovated not just a style but a distinct genre, and is now expanding that genre. And his guitar vibrato sounds like the man himself. Thank you, Robert, for doing these! nickgreen90125

Hybrid Space is a great album for anyone who loves Sequencers. Especially on this album Boris knows how to fascinate and move me from start to finish with his compositions.
Thank Boris for this wonderful music! Dennis Muijs

The third Sanctuary album is also the best of the trilogy. This one dares even more to expand the Oldfieldian style in new and exciting directions. It may be sacrilege to suggest it, but if this *were* a genuine Oldfield album, many might say it was one of his best, too. It's true that Rob Reed is standing on the shoulders of a giant, but he is a giant talent in his own right.
Often the music brings tears to the eyes, as if it were the soundtrack to the climax of a hard-won cinematic story. nickgreen90125
